La Chassagne

First experience in this small, very friendly setting with impeccable service. The good humor of the waiters/waitresses was very pleasant. The beef is generous and the desserts are copious. The only downside is the absence of toast or gingerbread and a small compote to accompany the plate of foie gras.

We had a very good lunch. Louis at the top, for the service. thank you for this beautiful, generous cuisine. Special mention for the OR ROUGE false fillet. Blue and perfectly captured. There is a menu for 27 and another for 37 (4 extra for foie gras). Croze hermitage white, 40.

A wonderful evening with friends celebrating our wedding anniversaries (Saturday and Monday). The staff were polite and friendly and the food and wine perfect for such an occasion.

Very enjoyable lunch. We visited as we have a gite and like to check out places before we recommend them to our guests. I had first noticed it last year and made a note to visit it sometime and we are very pleased we did. Lovely outside and indoor sitting areas in a very rural and peaceful setting. We chose the 17e lunch menu which was very good. The food in fact was better than described as the melon was with ham (but no mention of ham so if vegetarian then maybe just check first) which for us was no problem - and my tomato salad was ancient tomatoes so had an excellent taste and was with what I think was burrata rather than mozzerella as it was so creamy - again no mention of this on the menu so it was a lovely surprise. The setting is extremely nice - the staff are lovely and the chef does what he does very very well. Even the resident Black cat was a delight to meet. Have just booked to come again with some friends ! Dont think Ive ever been to the same restaurant two weeks running so that says it all

Really great, plentiful, quality!For a small price at lunchtime. Delicious, tender fish. The server very friendly.White wine is a real delight!!
